hour.otherwise 107 by taxis 60 by santeria arranged shuttle.they did not
bother to tell us about the bus
NOT ENOUGH SHOWERS ON OUR FLOOR WHICH WAS LEFT IN UNTIDY CONDITION MOST OF THE TIME.
BAR WAS USED BY PEOPLE OTHER THAN LODGERS FOR NOISEY PARTIES..SO DO NOT EXPECT A QUIET NIGHT SLEEP WEEKENDS"

Situated handily between Barra and Centro (a short walk down the hill to Barra, a short bus ride to Centro) the hostel is noisy on the road side, but has a staggeringly gorgeous view over the Salvador bay and Itaparica from the lounge area and breakfast room on the top floor. Unique quirky decor (think colourful catholic iconography crossed with buddha / shisha lounge and authentic artwork on the wall). Much more tasteful than it sounds. We loved it.
It´s worth staying here just for the breakfast experience with that view...
Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and common areas - fast free WiFi.
