Top end pricing just about justified, bigger tele and better decor and it would be very good value. Lady of the house very jolly. Breakfast and breakfast room, very good.

- "Food was reasonable, prepared in-house and generally main meals were good."

- "Breakfast started off excellent but then diminished each day, started off with two sausages and two eggs, finished off with one sausage and one egg and final two days was cooked by member of staff and obviously not a chef/cook. On arrival asked for a snack at the bar, this would have been served with chips and salad but they said we need not have these, just baguette but noted on departure they charged the full amount. Also booked for their steak night and reserved table but they gave this table away and we had to wait in the bar for 30 minutes for people to finish."

- "The room was dull and dreary, the tv was small put of date and did not work, kept changing channel, could not get itv. This place needs a total clean out and refurb. The breakfast was very poor, the oil tasted old, the food was not good The butter tasted rancid. The carpets were grubby and it was very over priced at £75."
