What did you like the most?: "The hospitality was superb throughout...very professional in approach and very helpful in giving information about the local area. Our room was extremely homely and comfortable - decorated to a high standard - the fridge with `real' milk was a nice touch, as were the box of every day items we may need, the local Dorset magazines, iron and ironing board...the list goes on....(amazing shower!!).
The breakfasts were superb and we were offered a wide range foods, to cater for all tastes, and we had an early start one morning and was offered a breakfast tray to our room so that we didn't miss out.
Great location if you want to explore Dorchester town, with a wide variety of restaurants and shops....as well as a highly recommended ghost tour held every Thursday night. Dorchester and surrounding is steeped in history which is reflected well in the Dorset Museum down the road, and Maiden Castle iron fort is a short drive away.
Lastly, i learned so much about Thomas Hardy who was born and bred in the area....visiting his childhood cottage is a must!"
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Nothing....we will definitely stay at Westwood House again.....we love Dorchester and Dorset itself. If i had to be critical then there is no parking at the guest house but there are parking bays opposite the hotel which are free from 6pm to 9am. We used the public car park Top O Town which is literally at the top of the road....you can pay upfront for long stay parking, and are able to use your ticket for a number of other car parks in the area."

Is there anything you didn't like?: "Loud music coming from pub/club/house? nearby on one of the nights. Not the hotels fault but annoying when you want a good nights sleep."
